A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OPERATIONS SUPPORT, TERRY CAMPBELL
During a visit to the Simply yard you will often find our Operations Support Terry out and about maintaining our equipment.
Terry has been with Simply for almost two years and he has played an integral role in being the Chief Repairman for our portable toilet and welfare units as well as our vehicles. This has been especially vital over the Coronavirus pandemic as we have increased our order book to provide essential works including effluent tank empties, fresh water deliveries and toilet waste removal.
This has meant that during busy periods Terry has become a multi-tasking hero. His role has changed slightly so that he is not only continuing to provide operations support but he also visits sites to service our equipment. He has stepped up massively and we are truly grateful.
Terry is incredibly conscientious not just when it comes to his work ethic but also in how he treats the Simply family. He goes out of his way to lend a helping hand, check in with each team member and provide the occasional comforting hug when needed. Simply has created a family that cares and Terry truly shares this value which is great to witness each and every time you see him in the yard.
Terry loves how no day is ever the same at Simply HQ. When we spoke to him, he said, “I always feel like my role is forever ongoing which is great, I get to work on different pieces of equipment and interact with different people. I love the variety of the job.”
We pride ourselves on creating a workplace which is exciting and innovative, constantly bringing in new pieces of machinery or solutions that allow us to be at the forefront of our industry. It’s lovely to hear that the rest of team Simply appreciate this too.
We love having Terry as part of our team, he always works so hard at whatever task he puts his mind too. It’s no wonder that after a long, hard days work he likes to unwind by having a bath and chilling out. You definitely deserve it Terry.
