A DAY IN THE LIFE OF HIRE DESK CONTROLLER – GEORGIA ASHMAN

Georgia joined the Simply family in September 2022 and has made her mark on the team in an incredibly short space of time with her dedication to the work and her bubbly personality. Georgia has a positive attitude and is always keen to try new things and take on challenges…which we love to see.  

For myself and Paul it is incredibly important that we can trust our Hire Desk team to go above and beyond for our customers and build strong relationships with our Drivers. Georgia is that safe pair of hands for us and we have been super impressed with her.

Each day, with a smile on her face, you’ll find Georgia booking in jobs and liaising with customers and our drivers to ensure all operations are running smoothly, Georgia always goes above and beyond to deliver outstanding service.

It is so important to us that our team members enjoy coming into work and view it as a supportive, fun and comfortable environment. We are proud to be a Mindful Employer and are committed to providing the support needed to maintain the positive wellbeing of our team. We carry out daily check ins, offer ongoing mentoring and training and also provide the team with organised breakfasts.

Georgia told us how she loves the people, the positive working environment and being able to take on new challenges and learn new skills, so much so that every morning she “skips to work”. We love hearing that Georgia is so excited to get into work in the morning!

After already seeing so much growth and potential, Georgia is most looking forward to seeing, and being a part of, all of the amazing things that Simply achieves. From high-profile festivals to team bonding sessions we’ve got a lot in store for this year and we cannot wait to share these with Georgia and the rest of our team!

When she’s not busy arranging hires and collections you can find Georgia shopping or trying out a new restaurant. We love a foodie here at Simply and can’t wait to see if she has any food recommendations we can try out.
