MEET SIMPLY’S LONGEST SERVING SERVICE DRIVER – KEVIN HESSIAN

Meet Kevin Hessian, Simply’s longest serving Service Driver. After joining the Simply team back in 2004, Kevin has played an important part in the company’s development as we have grown and continued to make improvements to our offering. Alongside this growth, Kevin has continued to uphold the excellent level of service that Simply has become renowned for since being founded in 1997.

Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, is loved by our customers and is an expert when it comes to the routes and our vehicles. In Kevin’s role as a 3.5T Service Driver, it is integral that he knows the vehicles inside out as we operate such bespoke equipment and work to tight turnaround times as part of our 24/7 response service. Kevin’s expertise means that he truly excels when it comes to training his team mates and familiarising them with the functions of the on-board vacuum pumps.

Working closely with the operations management team, Kevin has shown his continued support for his team mates, especially those new to the role. As a friendly individual who shares our passion for outstanding results, Kevin is the perfect person to welcome these new members to the Simply family and shares his expert knowledge with his fellow drivers, helping them to also grow and succeed like he has.

Kevin also played an integral part in helping develop our own in-house workshop.

We’ve been so proud that Kevin has been able to grow with us, as a company, and it’s through his feedback that we have been able to implement effective changes to continuously improve our services and therefore achieve even better results for customers.

Recently Kevin has been the poster man for our brand-new servicing truck taking two bays of toilets for delivery and collection around the South East. We wanted to modernise our fleet with the first of many shiny new Mercedes Sprinter vans and knew that with his many years’ experience and his passion for taking care of his van Kevin was the right man to trial the first new addition.

When Kevin is asked what his favourite part of the role is, he says: “For me it’s working with the supportive team. We all have such respect for each other and a shared goal of working towards creating a work place that values opinions and celebrates successes.”

We love that Kevin is totally in line with our family centric values and this shines through in all that he does, every single day.

When I think back to the time Kevin first joined the Simply team, I can see just how far he has grown on both a personal and professional level. He has consistently impressed us with his determination to develop his own skills and knowledge as well as the company whilst always looking out for his team members and their own progression.

Every person that works with Kevin flourishes from his guidance and jovial mood and we couldn’t appreciate him more.
