A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR SERVICE DRIVER JAMES
Our Service Driver James has only been with the Simply team since November, but he has definitely wowed us and become an integral part of the team.
Day to day you will find James collecting, delivering and servicing portable toilets to our lovely clients across the South East. James is super independent and so loves being able to undertake his role autonomously and we’ve been incredibly impressed with how he takes ownership of tasks to provide outstanding customer service to our clients.
At Simply, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer where everyone is treated the same. We want everyone to feel valued and part of the way we do this is by ensuring that Paul and I get stuck in to projects as well. Whatever job needs doing, we are there to do it too. It’s so nice that James loves this about us, he said: “I love working at simply because of the way that it’s run, the owners are incredibly involved and I love that.”
What amazing feedback. It’s so incredibly important to us that Simply is a place where people feel appreciated and wake up in the morning looking forward to start their working day. This allows us to create a strong and passionate team.
When we asked James what he was looking forward to the most for his future at Simply he said that he was excited to get to work at our festivals in the summer which is great to hear because this is definitely our busiest time of the year. Festivals bring with them an amazing atmosphere, so it’s definitely not an experience he will ever forget.
I’m so glad James is loving working at Simply as he has fitted in so well with the rest of the work family. He is eager to grow and always enthusiastic about his day to day role and how he can continue to improve Simply’s outstanding service. I can’t wait to see how he progresses within the team.
In his spare time, James loves to cook or watch football – he has also just got a brand new puppy. Fingers crossed he brings it to Simply HQ for a cuddle.
